E 39th St & 2nd AveJust had my lunch paid for by James Gandolfini at my local McDonald's. He was a little disheveled but completely recognizable and so nice. As he was walking away from the counter... he left $40 and told the woman at the register that he'd be paying for my roommate's and my food. He smiled graciously and walked out. Ohhh Tony!

Finished his cone and walked into the bodega across the street. Wearing a short sleeve dress shirt and chinos, like any other connected suburban dad.

209 E 23rd StI saw James Gandolfini at the school I attend, The School of Visual Arts. He is doing a Q&A session from 1pm till I believe 2pm. He pulled up in a black Lincoln Towncar right in front of me. I was the first person to see he him when he stepped out of the car, so I had to say hello. If you're a Gandolfini fan, come down here and you may catch him when he walks out.

Was really friendly and in a great mood, (unlike the panicked expression on his face the night before in the last scene of the Sopranos). Asked me a bunch of questions about my dog.

47 W 56th StWas eating dinner at Bennihanna on 55th btwn 5th and 6th ave. Sitting two feet from me at the next table was none other then James Gandolfini aka Tony Soprano celebrating his son's birthday. He looked like any other big guy you'd see out on the street. Was very friendly and nice w/ his son. With his ex wife (I think), a nanny and few friends. They all gave his son gifts. The son looks like a mini Tony. When they left, our entire table was talking about he was sitting right there. You can recognize his voice from a mile away.
